NYCT alumni Marina Molina from Mancha 'e Plátano arrives with her debut solo release, courtesy of Spain's Lovemonk imprint. The Puerto Rican musician and her excellent group of top musicians in Barcelona form a logical extension from the folkloric, bomba roots of Mancha 'e Plátano. This album even more embodies a very authentic and honest fusion of Caribbean music that has long been nurtured in Barcelona's prolific, experimental scene.
